Every late summer, the stone streets, historic cathedrals, and secluded island courtyards of Korčula transform into an extraordinary stage for classical music. The Korkyra Baroque Festival returns for its 2026 edition from August 31 to September 18, offering three weeks of world-class performances by renowned international and Croatian musicians.
A Vision Born from Heritage
Established in 2012 by Masha and Michel Unsworth, the festival was created to breathe musical life into the architectural and cultural treasures of Korčula and its surrounding archipelago.
Under the artistic direction of acclaimed violinist Laura Vadjon, the festival has grown into a prestigious international gathering. By bringing together world-renowned early music ensembles, soloists, and local heritage traditions, the festival creates an atmosphere where history, stone, and sound meet in perfect harmony.
