No, these are not images from scary movie, this is the Cactus fruit  (Prickly Pear) marmelade - making of. Maybe sounds bizarre, but the  taste of it is surprisingly good. Something like raspberry with the bit  of vanilla flavour. But such a torture to make one jar of this  marmelade; 2 hours of harvesting, 2 hours of plucking the spines out of  your body, 4 hours of cleaning it, 2 hours of cooking... and only 5  minutes to share it around. But it was worth it. Enjoy 🙂
