The Korkyra Baroque Festival is a high-profile cultural event established in 2012 in order to promote local and international music and cultural heritage. Supreme concert evenings and Korčula's impressive culture monuments create a unique synergy owing to which the Korkyra Baroque Festival has gained the reputation of a must-see event on the global music scene.

The fourth edition of the Festival in 2015 once again presented the most prestigious international and Croatian ensembles and soloists specialising in Baroque and Renaissance music such as B’Rock (Belgium), Dmitry Sinkovski (Russia), Catherine Mackintosh (UK), Antiphonus (Croatia), Zagreb Guitar Quartet (Croatia), Matija Dedić (Croatia), Matej Meštrović with Sudar Percussion (Croatia) and Croatian Baroque Ensemble with Laura Vadjon (Croatia).

This year's Festival will take place from 3rd to 17th September 2016. The European Baroque Orchestra and Red Priest (UK) will return after their successful participation in the first Festival in 2011. New artists and ensembles will include The Royal Wind Music (Netherlands), ArtiCoolAzione (Italy), Marcello Gatti (Italy) and Petrit Ceku (Croatia). Vocal ensemble Antiphonus (Croatia) will return with a performance of the opera "Dido and Aeneas" by H. Purcell.
