The 5th edition of wine and food festival Korčulanske Pjatance was held on the island of Korčula from 20th until 23rd of October with a rich program including special collaborations with famous chefs, masterclasses, workshops, fairs and exhibitions in order to discover to our visitors the secrets of the rich autumn on the tastiest island in the Mediterranean.

The opening day started on the market Rotonda where guests could enjoy wine and food prepared by the members of Pjatance but also purchase products from the islands of Hvar, Brač, Šolta and Vis on the fair organized in cooperation with LAG5. Later that day the mayor Nika Silić Maroević opened the caricature exhibition by Tisja Kljaković Braić in the city park.

Museum was also the place to hear the lecture about product certification led by Ana Marušić Lisac from the Biotehnicon and for the presentation of the project called 'Okupi otok'.

Other than workshops and lectures visitors could enjoy the 'art of marendavanje' - each day local's favourite restaurant Planjak offered special meals for affordable price. Saturday was reserved to spend the whole day on the Eko Škoj - agro&eco tourism family farm and enjoy in olive oil, wine and škopac (male goat meat) a delicacy for the islanders prepared in 7 different ways. That gathering was a perfect opportunity for the members to found Slow Food Korčula association.

The festival would not be complete without themed dinners; one of them was held in LD Restaurant where Michelin star chefs Marko Gajski and Kevin Bonello from restaurant The Mondion on Malta prepared 6-course dinner paired with best Meneghetti and Korta Katarina's wines. Tea Mamut and Igor Jagodic prepared an amazing dinner at restaurant Cupido, while the final one was organized in hotel Korčula where the special wine DraMa was first time presented to public in honor of a tragic passing sommelier at LD Restaurant - dear Dražen Matković.
