RAISE THE BAR awards ceremony 2023

We are proud to announce that among the four scholarship winners this year are two of our Lešić Dimitri team employees: pastry chef Željka Bleuš and chef Nikola Tomašić.

The Awards ceremony was held in the Esplanade hotel in Zagreb on 18th of April 2023 as a part of a Gault&Millau dinner.

In 2020, Raise the Bar Foundation was founded to provide scholarships for training young talents in gastronomy. Funds are paid into the foundation by Coca-Cola HBC Croatia, which initiated the project, and funds are intended exclusively for the purpose of awarding gastronomy scholarships. The personal approach applied to each candidate will allow the most suitable scholarships to be granted to candidates according to their profile and needs. An expert jury is consisted of renowned Croatian chefs including our LD Restaurant executive chef Marko Gajski.

Further more, another colleague of ours Tibor Klobučar has received the same scholarship in 2021 providing the opportunity to strengthen his knowledge at one of the most renewed culinary schools such as Le Cordon Bleu or Ecole Ducasse.

We congratulate them and wish many more of the awards in the future!
